Founder of Bible Academy
Cédric Pokam
Bible Academy started in a youth movement, not in a boardroom. In the CMCI (Communauté Missionnaire Chrétienne Internationale), young people read the Bible every day and give a faithful account of what they read to the person who disciples them. Many of them, Cédric included, struggled to keep that record on paper.
Cédric Pokam works in digital products, so he did what came naturally: he started building a simple app for himself and the person he disciples, to read the whole Bible, keep track honestly and remember what they read. It helped, so he decided to make it available to anyone, anywhere in the world, and he keeps developing it himself.
He is responsible for what Bible Academy publishes and for the editorial standards every guide follows.
